Dec. 21, 2023, I lost my best friend. My mom was diagnosed with a cancer that people don’t heal from in 2020 right before the pandemic. She fought with courage, bravery and strength. She was a positive and hopeful person. She never gave up no matter how difficult it got.
I am here trying to find a way through. I don’t know how to do or be without her and I thought finding a place to put some thoughts down might be helpful. She was this positive force in my life and her not being here is a huge hole. I know I can never fill it but maybe talking about it might help to make it hurt so much. I am hoping along the way I can find others to connect with as well. The one thing that connects us all is loss and heartache. Maybe in the pain we can find healing. Plus I’ll share some flower pictures for my mom along the way too.
